Kenn I. Hicks has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Winston Salem State University in North Carolina, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and an Approved/ Certified Domestic Violence Counselor. Kenn specialized in group therapy for over twenty years with youth, adults, and the elderly. He has been featured in many newspaper articles for his holistic approach to domestic violence prevention. His domestic violence treatment program has been very successful in treating batterers who have extensive criminal histories consisting of all forms of violence, weapon convictions, sexual assaults, multiple family battering, and drug/ alcohol addiction problems.
For the past two years Kenn has been invited to various colleges/ universities, and community agencies/ organizations to lecture on his "Eleven Building Blocks of Domestic Violence Prevention". Kenn is available for lectures on his book or related topics. Please call or
